Privacy Policy

The short version: Debt Payoff does not collect, transmit, or sell your personal data. Everything you enter stays on your device and, if you choose, in your own private iCloud account. We have no servers that store your information and no way to see it.
What you enter
The debts, balances, interest rates, payments, and reminders you add are stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device database. This information is entered by you and stays on your device unless you enable iCloud Backup.
iCloud backup & sync
If you are signed in to iCloud, Debt Payoff can back up your data and sync it across your devices using Apple's CloudKit, in the private database tied to your Apple ID. This data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We cannot access it, and it is never shared with us or anyone else.
What we don't do
- We don't have user accounts, and we never ask for your name, email address, or bank credentials.
- We don't use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking software.
- We don't collect device identifiers, contacts, or location.
- We don't connect to your bank or financial institutions.
- We don't share or sell your data — because we don't collect it.
Purchases
Subscriptions and the one-time Lifetime purchase are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles all payment details; we never see your card or payment information. Apple may provide us with anonymized, aggregated sales data through App Store Connect, which does not identify you.
Payment reminders
If you turn on reminders, Debt Payoff schedules local notifications on your device for your debts' due days. These are generated entirely on your device and are not routed through any server.
Deleting your data
You can remove everything at any time from Settings → "Delete all data," which permanently erases your debts, payments, and history from your device and from your iCloud. Deleting the app also removes its on-device data.
Children
Debt Payoff is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
